What is the difference between chunky knit and fine knit?

Isn't it just the yarn weight? But I'm not entirely sure.

Maybe “chunky knit” also refers to thin yarn worked with very thick needles. (I’m not very familiar with this.)

For me, it’s the yarn weight and, consequently, the needle size used.
But that’s just my personal opinion.

I also think that means thick yarn and thick needles.
Thin yarn and thick needles is lace, isn’t it?

Fine knit is also great for sewing—I’ve already sewn a few tops out of it.
