Sewing lace / Sewing lace fabric

Do you have any tips for sewing lace?

To sew lace, you should use a fine needle, i.e. a size 60 or 70 sewing machine needle. For thicker cotton lace, you can also use a size 80 needle. But for delicate lace that is either knitted or woven, such as batiste lace, a very fine needle is better. An even-feed foot would also be helpful, but it isn’t essential, because you can work around it by placing sandwich paper or tissue paper on top of the lace and then tearing it off afterwards; this also helps the lace sew nicely. With lace, as with silk, it’s best to practise a little first on small scraps, because you’re working with a very fragile fabric.
IT IS IMPORTANT TO ADJUST THE PRESSER FOOT PRESSURE PRECISELY!!!
