Sewing Denim

Dear community,
What should you keep in mind when sewing denim fabric?

First, insert a denim needle, and then use denim thread as well, because it’s stronger and holds up better. With this stronger thread, though, you’ll need to loosen the bobbin case tension a little; otherwise, the thread will keep breaking. I only sew denim on my little Pfaff, because I’ve set up a separate bobbin case for it there, so I don’t have to keep fiddling with the bobbin tension.
