do you currently have a lot of leftovers, or have you been able to use them up well?

Would you like to share your own pictures of your most beautiful leftover projects?

Does the accumulation of scraps ever stop? I don’t think so :-) ;-) Well, I’m always accumulating all kinds of scraps, whether it’s yarn or fabric :-)

Scraps are hard to part with.

Yes, very much so. Above all, I always misjudge how much I’ll need, and then I’m left with scraps of scraps yet again. 

Oh Petra, my scraps are multiplying like crazy, :-) no wonder they never seem to get any smaller 😀😀😀

Yes, my scrap box is still bursting at the seams. But I have a few little things I’d like to crochet now, so that’ll use up some of those scraps. I usually manage to use up quite a lot of scraps over the course of the year, but then the Advent calendar comes along....

Do you have photos of your best scrap projects that you’d like to share here?

last year I crocheted over 50 of these little bunnies from small scraps to use as gifts and decorations. However, that didn’t really reduce the amount of scraps I had. On the contrary, I even ordered more colors so they’d turn out nice and colorful. :)

While cleaning out my closets, I packed away my seasonal decor in boxes. So I don’t have to rummage around like crazy (it’s always in the very last box, after all…), I’m attaching little tags to the front that match the contents—two are already done:
a candy cane for Christmas

And here’s the Halloween ornament:

While rummaging through my cabinets in January, I found a table runner with an Aida fabric panel. I have more than enough colorful scraps of embroidery thread. I embroidered the runner with funny clowns, just in time for Carnival. Unfortunately, I only just finished it, but Carnival will be here again next year.
