Winter picture — finally finished

Yesterday my winter picture was finished. I started dyeing the fabric in mid-January — in light blue

and then I got started with the cross stitches... I began in the middle and picked out a motif



Then I kept adding one more



At some point the border and the lettering were added



Yesterday, my picture was finally finished



The last motif was finished quickly



My favorite motif? Each one is beautiful in its own way. I started embroidering when there was the border and 2 motifs. Every few days a new one was published, but I was always behind. So I could actually always pick out the "newest, prettiest" one whenever one was finished. 

My favorite is the snowman in the mitten



We don’t have any snow here anymore, but it’s still cold. So now the picture is going into a frame and can stand on the mantel for a little while longer.

It turned out soooo beautiful!

Yes, it really turned out beautifully! I’m not usually a big fan of embroidered pictures, but I really like this one. With the 9 motifs, there’s always something new to discover. My favorite motif is also the glove—it adds a pop of color and has a playful feel.

I also really like that you dyed the fabric ice blue—it makes the white embroidered motifs stand out better. Enjoy your winter picture this winter.
