Cotton Yarn and Leftover Cotton Yarn

Colorful leftover cotton yarn can also be used to crochet wonderful decorations for Carnival.


For this Venetian Carnival mask you only need 10–15 g of cotton yarn and, depending on your taste, sequins, rhinestones, leftover glitter yarn, or feathers for decoration. Thanks to the cotton yarn, it is comfortable to wear because you don’t sweat as easily underneath.



You can use the colorful jester’s cap in many different ways as a decoration.I integrated it into a small door wreath. It also fits on a bottle of sparkling wine, so you can bring it along as a little gift to a Carnival party. Small dolls with a head circumference of about 15 cm can also be dressed up with it.


After the Carnival party, you need a proper hangover breakfast! The funny clown egg cozies put you in a good mood and help with the morning hangover, too. The lower part is used as an egg cup, and the clown’s head then keeps the egg warm.

It doesn’t take much yarn to crochet around glasses to create a beautiful vase or a lantern like this. 



I can definitely see these little vases working well as table decorations for Easter or a christening.
