Do you go to Carnival / Carnival parades with children or grandchildren, or perhaps to parties without children?

No, I don’t really get into Carnival anymore, but I used to as a kid—I loved dressing up, though I did that all year round anyway.
And since I don’t have any children (and therefore no grandchildren), it just kind of faded away at some point.

My five grandchildren are all too old now to go to kids’ Carnival with Grandma 😀😃At ages 14 1/2, 19 1/2, 27, almost 29, and 29 1/2, that’s a thing of the past.

Yes, I really enjoy doing that. It’s more about designing than sewing, but it’s exactly that mix that makes it so appealing to me. I’m making a locomotive costume for my 4-year-old grandson, and the little 2-year-old is going to be a snail.
