Dear community,
who among you has a whole lot of UFOs = unfinished objects = craft projects that have been set aside? Do you have plans to reduce them, or can that still wait?

They just don’t seem to be getting any fewer.... I’ve unraveled a few, but there are still so many. This is just a small sample from my long list.

On the bright side, I’m not really adding any new UFOs. Some projects are still waiting to be finished. Right now, I’m combining different crafting techniques.

Just before Christmas, I finally finished my unicorn placemat. That had also been sitting neglected in a box for a few months.

Petra, I admire how meticulously you keep track of your UFOs. But isn’t that very time-consuming? Wouldn’t it be better to use that time to actually finish the UFOs??? 😆😆😆

I need lists; they help me organize myself better. In many areas of my life.

Creating them is only a bit of work once, and after that I just add to them. I have so many things started that I’ve lost track. This way I remember them and can get them out.

Finish them or frog them. Yesterday I frogged one and crossed it off the list.

I’ve got a few lying around, too.
I’m going to make a list—I don’t think it’s such a bad idea.
It’s also a good way to tidy up the craft closet at the same time.

One UFO is finished.

The snowman was quick to embroider, but I didn’t have any idea how to finish it. Now it has become a wall hanging for January decorations

I still have about 15 :)
I recently made a resolution to finish two UFOs for every new project I start. Overall, it’s working :D

Oops…

When I look at my project book, I have around 28 UFOs.

I always tell myself that when I finish a project, I won’t start something new right away. But I just find that very difficult.
There are so many lovely patterns.

Every now and then I manage to finish two UFOs in a row.
But quite often it’s like this: one UFO is finished and I start two new projects.

I’ve got about 10 UFOs myself.
But why do you keep ending up with UFOs?
For me, it’s because I often get stuck—it just doesn’t work out the way I want it to.
Or, like with the last pillows, I unraveled a thread and now I don’t have enough embroidery thread left.

I’m in a similar boat.

What should I do next?

Do I like it or not?

I almost never run out of yarn or have too little.

And once it disappears into a box, I can’t remember the pattern anymore.

Right now, I’m unraveling quite a few projects.
