New Crochet Patterns January 2025: Start Crocheting Now

start the new year off right now with the new crochet releases.

Christmas is over, the new year is beginning, and the hardworking crafters are already thinking about the next event: Fasching and Carnival! Of course, there’s a new pattern for this in my shop, too:

My little dolls Anna and Anton as Tanzmariechen and Funkenmajor! Anna is wearing a blue-and-white striped dress with a full skirt, and Anton is wearing a matching suit. Both are wearing a tricorn hat. The crochet pattern includes the instructions for both dolls and their clothing.

If you’ve already crocheted the two dolls Anna and Anton and only want to make the costumes, you’ll also find the crochet pattern just for the clothing here (without the dolls).
The costumes also fit other dolls of about 20 cm in size.

Crochet Pattern: Tissue Box Cover “Dog House”

Poncho "Caesar" is an absolute eye-catcher and keeps you nice and warm.
It can be made in any size and with any yarn and hook size and worn in 2 different ways.
No annoying seaming, it is worked in one piece (Rvo), so it’s ideal for gradient yarns. You can make it using a written pattern and/or crochet chart .

Materials needed:

The details naturally depend on the poncho size/length, hook size, and yarn weight!
Yardage used in this example:

• Approx. 2115 m – 5-ply yarn
• 4 stitch markers
• Crochet hook suitable for the yarn (here size 3.5)

Matching the poncho: the "Caesar" hat/headband

The hat and the headband can also be made individually in size and with any yarn and the matching hook size . For women, men, or children.

The amount of material depends on the hook/yarn weight and the hat or headband size

Example here: head circumference = 54 cm, hat height

• Approx. 300 m 5-ply modal yarn from Sandra`s Bobbelchen
• Headband head circumference = 54 cm: approx. 120 m
• Any crochet hook (here size 3.5)
• Possibly a hat pom-pom
