Things are going to be quiet around here; we don’t have any plans. We’ll see how things go with the Advent calendar—there’s definitely still something to crochet—and I’m making a little progress on the temperature chain every day. Plus, a friend gave me a few books, so I’ll be doing some reading, too.

Thanks, Josefa—I wish you and everyone else the same: a wonderful third Sunday of Advent. We don’t have any plans, but we’re not getting “Toderich” because of that either :-))))
I’ll have to explain that to you: one of my grandsons was about 3 years old. He was pacing back and forth in the yard, and his mom asked him what was wrong because he was walking back and forth like that. The boy looked at his mom and groaned—I heard it over the phone, because my daughter and I were talking at the time. “Mom,” he said, “I’m so Toderich,” and my daughter started laughing and asked me, “What did he say?” She asked the boy again, and he just said, “I’m soooooooooooooooo Toderich,” again. My daughter was still puzzling over what the boy might mean; I laughed and said, “He definitely means *dead bored*, but he couldn’t come up with the word.” She asked her son again if that’s what he meant, and he said yes: “That’s what I said, I’m Toderich” ;.-))). Since then, there’s been no more boredom in our house—only “Toderich.”

@Inge, what a lovely story. I think every family has words like that from their children. It’s just so nice when they’re remembered for so many years.

I’m going to bake again today—I found two more kinds I’d like to make. Then I’m done.

Otherwise, I have a few little things to take care of, and later this evening I’ll work on sewing a Christmas gift so it gets finished, and do a little knitting.

  Tomorrow our grandson is coming over to decorate the Christmas tree. The Christ Child asked if he could take over decorating the tree this year. Apparently, he’s under a lot of time pressure and needs some help. So we have a lovely day ahead of us tomorrow with our grandson.
