My Advent Arrangements

Until a few years ago, I always made my Advent wreath entirely from scratch, but over time I found it too bulky. So now I make small Advent arrangements with a single candle. I have two in the living room and one in the kitchen, and I’m still finishing one for my mom. My aunt was a florist, and I used to learn a lot from her. 

Your arrangements turned out lovely—each one in its own way. My favorite would be No. 1—just those little stars.

Yeah, when you spread them out, you have more decorations and can enjoy the candlelight in every room.

I want to fill a floor vase with greenery this afternoon. I love it when the room smells like fir branches. 

The Advent arrangements are very beautiful.

They really are very beautiful. We only have one left with a thick candle, too—a whole wreath like that takes up a lot of space.
