In my latest project, I combined my two current passions.

Embroidery  



and sewing



The result is a winter-themed placemat for my cookie jar

Great job, Petra! It’s really beautiful to look at. Thank you so much for showing us the steps along the way. I can totally picture it: First, you pore over the embroidery design and place each individual snowflake after the lettering. Then you move on to picking out the right fabrics. And then it’s time to sew. The result is a truly unique placemat. It’s one of a kind!

Ina, you described that well. 

It was actually supposed to be a small picture, like my little ghost. But then the change of plans began... that’s the lovely thing about handmade work: I never know what it will be in the end.
