Quick poll: Do you prefer knitted or crocheted socks?

Knitted—they’re softer and more elastic. Although I’ve also crocheted spiral socks before, and that worked out fine too.

I also prefer knitted socks.

I never liked the crocheted ones for babies and toddlers anyway.

Definitely knitted! Crocheted socks look too clunky to me.

Crocheted, because I can’t knit. I also found a great pattern here, and the socks are wonderful to wear.

I used to wear crocheted socks. But not for very long—after a short while, the soles of my feet could feel every single crochet stitch. Maybe I’m just too sensitive.

With knitting, all the stitches interlock to form a smooth surface. A crocheted piece can’t achieve that same smoothness. So crocheted socks just don’t work for me.
