Christmas Scrap-Busting: Christmas Tree Ornaments and Christmas Decorations from Leftovers

Crocheted Christmas tree ornaments can be made very easily from even the tiniest scraps of yarn. In this pattern, you’ll find ideas for 4 different ornaments: a bell, a star, a little angel, and a snowflake.
If you prefer a simple look, crochet the tree ornaments with plain cotton yarn, such as white. If you prefer something more sparkly, crochet with glitter yarn, such as gold, silver, or red.



These little angels  are also great for using up colorful leftover yarn. The angels are designed to be very simple, so they truly deserve their name “Quick Angel.”



And of course, a little moose is an absolute must for your Christmas decorations! All you need here is some brown and white cotton yarn and a tiny scrap of red or green for the scarf. You can give the moose as a keychain, but it also looks great on the Christmas tree or on a gift package.
