Dear users and authors,
here you’ll find ideas for Christmas gifts and the matching patterns.

@Authors,
2–3 patterns per author are enough. Don’t forget links, images, information, etc. All patterns promoted here must have at least 10 sales / a conversion rate of at least 2% and must not have been promoted in the forum in the past 3 weeks.

The most beautiful Christmas gifts are still the handmade ones! They’re one of a kind, and you can’t buy them anywhere. What would I recommend as gifts? Here are a few ideas from me, today just for children and grandchildren. All of these ideas can still be wonderfully made in the next few days and weeks before Christmas. I hope you have lots of fun with them.

Warm regards from Ina

Crochet pattern “Enchanting Doll Clothes to Mix and Match”

All little doll mommies will be delighted with this. Anyone who receives a set like this as a gift has lots of options for dressing their little fashion dolls. This crochet pattern includes the following garments:

  • an enchanting dress in variable length with 2 fastening options
  • a top with different neckline options
  • extra sleeves to attach, with 2 wearing options
  • a skirt in variable length
  • an overskirt in variable length
  • a cape in variable length
  • a bolero and
  • a hat
The set is fun for us to crochet first, and at Christmas the children will certainly enjoy it too.

Crochet Pattern Board Game

You surely all know this game—and probably as a cardboard version. This one is portable and washable. Everything is crocheted, even the game pieces—if you want. The rolled-up game, together with the game pieces, goes into a little bag. That way you can take it along, for example, to a picnic, on an outing to the swimming lake, or to the grandparents’ house.

Instead of the crocheted game pieces, you can also use buttons.

Felted Booties with a Roll Collar

Yes, warm clothing can make a lovely gift too. Children’s feet grow quickly, and it’s wonderful when the children keep getting warm felted slippers from you in their size. I know this from my grandchildren. Here at our place, they have their own slippers and love wearing them. The felties keep their feet pleasantly warm and make every step soft.

In my shop there are various felted shoe models that can be worn all year round. My grandchildren like the flat ones (ballerina style) with pull tabs best. The knitting and felting pattern includes the flat version and the boot version. You can make them in all sizes.

How about some great hand-crocheted pot holders? With the still relatively little-known double-face technique, it’s possible to crochet completely different sides. Two-color pot holders, such as these ones with snowflakes, are a great place to start. If you’re already familiar with the technique and have some experience with it, working with multiple colors—like in the Norwegian design—won’t be a problem anymore.

Have you already thought about Christmas gifts? If you want to give something handmade, you should start now so you don’t end up under unnecessary stress.
Here are a few ideas for crocheted, personalized gifts that children will enjoy for a long time:

How about these hand-crocheted dolls Anna and Anton? The two are about 20 cm tall. The clothing can be put on and taken off, so Anna and Anton can get even more clothes. In my doll clothing collection  you’ll also find a few outfits for the two of them.

Even small children can join in with the “Mouse Hunt” board game. The goal of the game is to catch as many mice as possible with the kittens. Game instructions are included. But of course you can adapt the rules of the game to suit your own taste and needs.
This project is very suitable for leftover yarn.

And here’s another project where you can crochet up lots of scraps: a “quiet book” (activity book) that playfully helps develop your child’s fine motor skills. They can practice different fasteners, match colors and shapes, and much more. This book will keep your child busy for a long time.

You can find even more crocheted toys here and here.
