my latest blog post has just gone live.

I’ll show you the easiest, simplest way to finish
a cross-stitch ornament as a pillow. Especially as
Christmas decorations, these small, beautifully embroidered
mini pillows are absolutely popular. With or without a hanger,
the seam is sewn by hand and is also easy for beginners
to master.



As a little bonus, the cross-stitch pattern for the little
gnome is included for free.

Fall is craft season!

I’ve made a cute little bag for my granddaughter. A simple design, good structure and stability, and of course beautiful, colorful children’s fabrics make it an eye-catcher and a much-used accessory. I’ll show you how to sew it in this blog post:

And I’ve finally finished my crocheted temperature blanket from 2022. Since we’ll be almost into the new year in two months, this might be a nice project for you, too. With my temperature blanket, you crochet one row every day. You can’t choose the color yourself; instead, you have to use the color you assigned to that day’s high temperature beforehand. It’s a lot of fun.
