Dyeing Fabric for Embroidery

And once again I’ve given my embroidery fabric a new color. 



For Halloween, I need a dark fabric. I wanted it to be black. So I used acrylic paint that we had left over from the last time we painted a room. 



Added some water—and as you can already see, my water isn’t black anymore. 



But I’m happy with the result. I like it when the fabrics have a few spots. And I won’t be washing my little ghost, because I don’t think the color would survive a wash.
