All children love puppet theater! If you can crochet, you can make your own puppets for a Punch and Judy show. Add your own ideas and imagination! This creates truly unique little puppets that no one else has! If that doesn't put you in a good mood!
In my shop you’ll find a whole
collection of hand puppets.

As a basic set, I recommend the
Hand Puppet Value Pack. Here you get the patterns for 6 of the most important figures in a Punch and Judy show: Punch, Gretel, Seppel, Grandmother, Robber, and Crocodile. With these, you can already put on lots of little plays.
You can crochet many of the puppets from leftover yarn you already have.
The hand puppets are designed for small children’s hands. If you want them to be a little wider, simply casting on a few more stitches for the body is enough.
If the children are even younger, they usually manage better with
finger puppets. You can play Punch and Judy with those too!
So in my shop, for example, I offer
10 finger puppets for a Punch and Judy show. Here, too, you’ll find the patterns for Punch, Gretel, Seppel, Grandmother, Robber, and Crocodile, plus Policeman, Witch, King, and Princess—all in mini finger-puppet format, of course. Here you can make wonderful use of small amounts of leftover yarn. And these little Punch puppets can be taken anywhere, because they take up virtually no space
