I’m kicking off October with a plum cake😁☺️ It’s Gõga’s birthday tomorrow🤩, so he’s getting a plum cake.
As for my crafting, I have a kids’ hat on the needles.

I have a small crochet commission right now—I’m working on Danish crochet hearts.
In between, I’m already crafting with beads for Halloween and Christmas: beaded angels, painting stones, and much more.

This is going to be a child’s hat; I’m already at about 19 cm, and I need at least 37/38 cm—more is better. I’m using up leftover sock yarn here.

After the acorns, I tried my hand at an embroidered pumpkin 🎃 and a mushroom 🍄.

I tried my hand at making an autumn wreath. If you arrange the twigs in a bucket, they can’t “escape,” and it’s easier to tie them together for a simple wreath in a flash 😄.

We have a birch tree in the garden—I’d like to try out your bucket technique on it. Your wreath turned out absolutely beautiful

Thanks, Petra. This method is great for beginners like me 😄. It’s probably a world away from the proper way to make wreaths, but you can achieve a pretty decent result in no time.
