Happy weekend / Happy start of fall

Yes, I do like fall just the way it is now—golden October, Indian summer, whatever you want to call it. But I don’t like the wet, cold, dreary weather that’s already been forecast for next week.
Right now I have absolutely no idea what I could pick up on my needles; I need to take my time going through my downloads.... and then make sure I have the right yarn on hand.

Yes, I really like fall, with all its facets—even the gloomy weather sometimes. What I don’t like is when it gets really nasty and wet and cold; my bones don’t like that.
Since I went on another *big shopping spree* yesterday, I have plenty of supplies at home, whether for sewing, knitting, or crafting. Even if I ever run out, I still have my embroidery to keep me busy :-)

The weather’s fantastic again today—really warm—we just had coffee on the balcony, but you can’t stay out there for long. There’s a bit of a breeze. I love the colorful autumn leaves on the trees. It can stay this way for a while.

Yesterday I went for a stroll with a coworker—we had a cappuccino, ate soft-serve ice cream, and sat by the water; it was wonderful.
Right in the middle of the city, you can sit by the Havel and take a leisurely walk.

My stones are dry and varnished.
