Dear users, dear authors,
dear little helpers,
have you bought anything for crafting, or have you stayed strong and used up yarn / fabric / materials from your stash?

I’ve stayed strong and went through my sock yarn stash.

I found about 1,000 g in gray, brown, and beige. Now I’ve started working on an RVO jacket for my husband.

I bought some new fabric for bags. Since I’ve been so happy with the two bags I’ve sewn so far—made from old fabric scraps—I’d like to sew a few more. I want these ones to be a bit bigger. But for bags, you need sturdy fabrics—they have to be able to hold their own. I don’t have much of that kind of fabric, which is why I made this purchase. But cloth bags are sustainable, too. Once sewn properly, they last for years.

Best regards, Ina

I bought some cotton yarn at the beginning of the month because I want to rework a few projects.

Otherwise, I’m using up the old yarn.

I bought this gorgeous knit jersey for my long jacket at the beginning of the month, and last week I picked up some craft supplies like these wooden blanks.

Best regards, Inge

I actually haven’t bought anything—I still have plenty lying around here.... though that doesn’t really mean anything, but I don’t have any new major projects in the works right now either.

I bought a long, wide ruler for my patchwork strips. But I haven’t tried it out yet.

Today I made a little something from scraps: a coaster.

Great, Petra, Shaun the Sheep — that’s what it looks like :-)

Oh my, I’ve totally gone overboard these past few days... I’ve been busy working on various sewing projects and bought some really great fabrics for them. Do you know that feeling when you have nothing left to wear and there’s never anything decent in the stores?! 😉

Love, Ellen

Hats off to the brave ones!

I *cough* bought a little bit *double cough*.
* First, a new and larger cutting mat—I managed to wear out the last one after only 4 months. Oops.
  * Then the Midi ironing board from IKEA, since the ironing mat I bought before is a bit too small for larger projects.
* I bought some yarn and fell in love with it right away (Granny sweater), only to find out that it’s on sale BECAUSE it’s no longer being produced *sob*.

Woooooo, I really went on a shopping spree at T.di again this afternoon. :-)) I didn’t buy any fabric, but I did get chenille yarn, felt, colorful pipe cleaners, wooden beads, and wooden figure blanks. Then there was a pillowcase (for next to nothing) with long plush fibers, about 2.5 cm long—perfect for a beard on elves and St. Nicholas :-) I also picked up some clear file sleeves (I always put my patterns in there and clip them in) and batting.

Hugs, Inge
