We’re having calm late-summer weather here. My garden still takes center stage. We really enjoy having breakfast in the garden every day—except for the wasps.
Since I’ve decided to preserve a lot of my garden’s produce for the winter this year, I’m doing it on an ongoing basis. Yesterday, 23 little 250-ml bottles of tomato ketchup made their way into the cellar. One bottle means one lunch of pasta with tomato sauce for my husband and me. And it tastes exactly the way we like it—without the huge amounts of sugar found in store-bought ketchup.
Today and tomorrow, everything can sit and mature without me—I’m in the mood to get creative! A new project has me completely absorbed.
Have a wonderful summer weekend, everyone!
Warm regards, Ina
