Backpack

Using the leftover fabric from my bag, I sewed myself a backpack
today. It has a front pocket with a zipper, and even though it has a slide clasp, I added a zipper to the backpack as well—that way, if I need to pack more into it, I can still close it and no one can reach inside.

Dear Inge, the backpack and the little fruit and vegetable bag look great, too! It’s a really wonderful fabric. It looks so sturdy, and the pattern and colors make it a pleasure to look at. I also like the double security feature on the backpack—the snap and the zipper are great! A thief would have a hard time with that.

The fabric you bought went a long way: you’ve made three beautiful, sturdy bags out of it. Great job!
