Large Crossbody Bag

I bought this fabric recently when I was out with my daughter—neither of us could walk past it without buying something. :-)))
The sewing went really well because I was wearing my old glasses; for some reason, I can see better into the distance with them right now than with my current pair, so I thought I’d give sewing a try—either it’ll work or it won’t. It worked, and not badly at all! :-))

Very nice! Reminds me of the banana bags—great shape, I really like it!

The fabric is gorgeous. I would have found it hard to resist, too. 

The bag turned out great. It fits quite a lot of things that a woman absolutely has to have with her at all times. 

Thanks, dear Inge, for the pictures. You can really see what a great fabric this is, especially in the last picture! I’d say it has a bit of an ethnic style. I opened the picture in a new window in full size so I could enjoy every detail.

The bag looks great! The chunky zipper goes well with it, too.

It’s really nice that your old glasses came back to mind. Good thing you didn’t throw them away yet. You’d never have guessed that. But once your eyes are free of that gray haze, everything will be even sharper. Until then, don’t let the time drag on.
