Dear users, dear authors,
have the first gingerbread cookies already appeared in the supermarket?
If not, no problem. We have plenty of patterns for gingerbread men and gingerbread houses in our shop.

Josefa, I think it’ll be at least until August. That’s terrible—who would want to eat them in December anyway?

Crocheting them is a nice alternative to baking them.

We don’t buy gingerbread here—we bake it ourselves during the season when we eat it. I think it’s crazy to see gingerbread in stores as early as summer.

As someone from Franconia, I agree with Inge 100%. You don’t get gingerbread before the first Sunday of Advent, and it’s definitely homemade. Whether it’s edible or not 😉.

We’re not big gingerbread fans, but I’m still going to crochet a few gingerbread men for decoration.

Veronika, I’ve been meaning to do this for a few years now. So far, Christmas has come and gone so quickly that I haven’t managed to get around to it yet. Other ideas have always gotten in the way.

Morning, crochet mice

When you really think about it... gingerbread will be back on the shelves in 6–7 weeks. How crazy is that?
A year goes by so fast.
