In our family and among our friends, everyone keeps ordering felt slippers from me. Not because they don’t like them anymore, but because the kids have outgrown them or the adults want new colors.
In my shop, you’ll find various styles. Here I’ll show you my
3 favorite styles.
I hope you enjoy making them: whether for yourself, for the kids, for daycare, for the whole family, or for friends. By the way, these always make welcome gifts that bring joy for a long time.
Let’s get started!
1. Felt Moccasins
I especially like these because they look great on the feet. They’re suitable all year round. The wool regulates temperature: excess heat is released through the breathable wool fibers, while the foot still stays warm. So you don’t have to walk on cold tiles even in summer. They also fit wonderfully in your vacation luggage because they pack down so small. It’s like taking a little piece of home with you on your travels. Just slip them on and feel good.

2. Felt Boots with Rolled Cuff
This is perfect for anyone who’s always cold. This style has a knitted-on rolled wool cuff. It provides extra warmth—especially around the sensitive ankle area. When the ankles are warm, the whole foot and body stay warm. If you leave off the cuff, you first have a pair of ballet flats, which kids really love. You can spruce up the ballet flats a bit so they’ll like them too. For adults, I always sew leather soles onto the shoes because that makes them last four times longer. And for the kids’ shoes, I add anti-slip material. That makes them slip-resistant with minimal effort.
3. One-Step Booties
As the heading suggests, these shoes are knitted in one piece and felted in the washing machine. So the cuff doesn’t need to be made separately and sewn on; it is knitted on right away. And you also have a small opportunity to personalize them by sewing on a pretty decorative button. In terms of warmth, this style falls between the other two. But you’ll definitely have warm feet without sweating in these, too.
