An hour for a little animal? That’s ambitious, even for small ones. But if you stick to simple shapes, it’s definitely possible.



You’ll definitely be able to make the bunny, chick, and lamb bookmarks in less than an hour each, since they’re just the head. The body is a foundation chain, which ensures that the book still closes properly even with the bookmark inside.




Even a cute little snail like this is quick to make. The body is crocheted in a spiral, just like the well-known “worry worms,” and the snail shell is also a spiral, but in the shape of a heart.
