What takes a long time...

... is finally finished now; the last photos were taken yesterday, and that means 3 "projects" are completed.

Here I chose crazy patchwork, sewn using the quilt-as-you-go method... I like this style best.




Tissue storage

Do you still remember these kinds of containers for tissues? I had 3 back then. I treasured the yellow one all these years; my grandma (she lived in East Germany) sent it to me for my 16th birthday, and by now it has been with me for a full 50 years. But it was simply too full, so I needed a new one...😉 of course, in patchwork and quilted.





Then there’s also a bag

You probably know those shopping bags made from 3 granny squares... I thought something like that could be sewn too, and it worked😊 It is quilted, but a simple one (without batting) will follow.
