Summertime is strawberry time. You can show that in the kitchen too. The strawberry potholder with the funny face is not only practical, but also a cheerful splash of color in your kitchen that fits especially well with the current season.



This one is also all about colorful fruits—this time as glass coasters. The hole in the middle is exactly the right size for a straw to fit through. So you can also use the fruit coasters as glass covers. And if you crochet them a bit larger (just work a few more rounds) and add a hanger, you can even use them as potholders, like the melon slice on the right in the picture.
