We’re continuing with the letters — today the “C” is finished. In this blog post, I’ll show you how you can knit the “C” in doubleface. And even without mirroring, so that the letter appears correctly on both sides.

Today I uploaded a free knitting pattern
for a quick, flat mini triangular shawl “Ceara” for you.
It is very easy to knit and can be worn on both sides.
There is no front / back. Both sides look pretty.
The shawl gets an I-cord edge, with garter stitch knitted in between.
There is a short version and a detailed pattern.
This means beginners with the basic skills mentioned can also make this shawl.

I’ve started a new sewing experiment again. This time, I sewed something for myself—using the pattern of a well-fitting sports bra as a template, I basically copied one for myself. It worked out great.

I love the combination of “elegant with a little playful.”

I love crocheting granny squares.
To me, they’re like a little (or bigger) surprise package, since I often don’t know how the rounds will unfold until I’m actually crocheting them.
So you can see the result ahead of time, there’s a free pattern by Tsuki on my blog.

I can’t get enough of earrings.
Crocheted, they are a new version for me and an alternative to store-bought earrings.
Here you can use up the tiniest scraps of cotton in your favorite colors.
The dangle earrings are also quick to crochet.

I designed this “Guardian Angel” blanket specifically for premature babies and angel babies—I hope that as many people as possible will knit this blanket to give strength or offer some comfort to the affected parents.

The blanket consists only of knit stitches and purl stitches, and each row is written out stitch by stitch, so even beginners with a good grasp of the basics can manage it. There’s surely an organization for premature babies and/or angel babies near you—they’re always grateful for donations like this. It’s best to ask beforehand if there are any specific requirements for the yarn used.

Maybe you’re having the same weather where you are as I am here... In any case, this April weather in June motivated me to knit exactly this moody weather ;-) In this blog post, I’ll show you how to knit the sun on one side of a coaster and the rain cloud on the other. It’s a great challenge for advanced knitters who are already quite confident with the double-face knitting technique. If you’d like to practice a bit first, you can knit the motifs individually using the knitting chart.

Free knitting pattern for "Moody Weather" 

The teddy bear I sewed the jumper for has now also gotten a little summer dress. It was sewn with a facing. I’ll tell you what that is and why I really enjoy sewing it in my new blog post.
