Hello everyone,
Recently we were invited to a Jugendweihe celebration. The young man really only wanted to receive money as a gift, but just handing over an envelope felt too uncreative to me. So I quickly made a picture frame. If you're good with a PC, you can design an A4 sheet yourself with a nice background and a bit of text. Then print it out on photo paper. Leave space in the middle for the banknotes. Then fold the banknotes just before the 0 and stick them on one after another with a tiny bit of double-sided tape.
That way, 60 euros quickly become ... 1 million :-) Wrap the whole thing nicely in clear film, add a few curled gift ribbons as decoration—and it was “a real gift.” Since the picture frame has a stand on the back, it could stand on the gift table and be admired by everyone.
For anyone who doesn't have time to DIY the picture, there are also ready-made print templates on Etsy. Of course, you have to pay for those once. But if you have time, you can DIY it yourself. There isn't much on it. Before I wrapped it in clear film, I quickly took a photo for you. Maybe you'll need an idea for a money gift sometime.
Best wishes from Ina
