We’ve been living with severe weather warnings for the past two days, but luckily nothing has happened yet—it’s not even raining. I’ve still made a few preparations, though; I bought everything I need for the long weekend yesterday, so I won’t have to go out for the time being.
I didn’t even bother cleaning the windows—that way, I won’t get annoyed if rain splashes against them.
But I do need to do some ironing, and then I’ve got a little sewing planned: shortening pants for my sweetheart, sewing zippers into crocheted pouches, and one bag needs a different strap.
And then I’ll take some time to myself and pick out a new crochet project—all my commissions are finished and already packed up.

As far as severe weather goes, Mainfranken has gotten off lightly once again; it’s raining, but it’s a nice, gentle drizzle—light and not too heavy.
I’m baking a delicious apple cake right now 😁—we were both in the mood for it.

@Veronika, I’m keeping my fingers crossed that nothing else happens—and of course for everyone else affected by the storm, too... Up here in the north, you can’t tell a thing is going on; the sky is bright blue, but the air is unbearable.
I don’t have anything planned—we’ll see what happens; it also depends on how warm it gets.

We just got back from a trip to visit our grandchildren and are looking forward to spending time in the garden.
