Busy Little Helpers: Finish a UFO

Dear users, dear authors,
can you finish a UFO = unfinished object = unfinished handmade project this week or during the Pentecost holidays? What are you working on at the moment?

Finishing a UFO isn’t on my list. 

I’d rather try something new

I sewed a little basket today. 



And now I’ll weed a bit of that unloved green out of the beds and enjoy the beautiful blooms

It’s not exactly a UFO, but I’ll finish the third of the requested unicorns by tomorrow at the latest, and then they can set off on their journey to their new home.
But then there are still a few crocheted pouches waiting for their zippers—they haven’t been waiting long, but before they turn into real UFOs, I’ll go ahead and take care of them.

I don’t have any UFOs; I’m still knitting my blanket, and I still need quite a few more centimeters before it reaches the desired length.

I still have a few UFOs in progress right now: a quilt that I’m currently quilting. It takes a while to do by hand. And another quilt—I still have to sew three blocks and embroider a whole bunch of blocks. A blanket to crochet on the patio and a top to knit while watching TV. Some English paper piecing to take with me, and socks to take with me as well (perfect for waiting at the doctor’s office).  Except for the quilt, these aren’t UFOs to me. Yes, the projects are unfinished, but to me, UFOs are only things that have been lying around for a while without any attention. Everything else is PIA = projects in progress.
 None of these will be finished next week. Maybe the top will be done the week after that.
But that’s okay. 
 Today I just managed to patch up a pair of pants for my grandchild. They’re finished now.😇

UFOs? Luckily, I’ve never had one. I always force myself to finish a project before I start a new one.

After three months of doing nothing, I had to make a mobile for the neighbors. They’re becoming grandparents.
I’ve been working on it for three weeks now. There was a time when something like that was finished in three days.
It’s hanging out at the moment, and then I’ll secure everything.
