Hardworking little elves: has your weather improved?

Dear users, dear authors,
dear little elves,
how are things going for you? Is the weather better? Do you have time / feel like crafting?

Summer has suddenly arrived here. I’m enjoying the weather. Now my garden and plants are demanding my attention, so I have less time for crafts.

Right now it’s actually pretty okay, but for the past two days or so I’ve been sensing the thunderstorms coming our way again :-( But the warm weather came back way too fast, too—just 2–3 days ago it was still below freezing, and now it’s over 20°+—CRAZY if you ask me; that’s enough to knock even the toughest Eskimo off his sled. This coming Friday, it’s supposed to be back down to just 13°+,

Yes, Inge, these ups and downs are always very exhausting in the spring—for those sensitive to the weather and for the plants. Just a few days ago, it was still -3 degrees at night, and I was worried about my plants and fruit tree blossoms. And today it’s 28 degrees. All the greenhouse plants I’ve raised are now outside to harden off. But I’ll probably have to bring them all back inside on Thursday evening.

Oh well, there’s nothing we can do about it—we just have to take the weather as it comes.

It was 26 degrees here today with a good breeze—perfect dry weather. I took advantage of it. But I still have time to crochet.
I could definitely do without thunderstorms, Inge.

I’m enjoying the warmth, but even more so the sunshine—this endless gloom is really getting on my nerves. My circulation goes haywire when it suddenly gets cooler again; not only do the temperatures drop, but my blood pressure plummets too. But complaining doesn’t help—I’ve already tried that—so I’ll just grit my teeth and power through.

It’s absolutely wonderful. I’m in the garden right now, reading

Everyone else is getting started on their gardening.
We—or rather, my parents—don’t have a garden anymore (because of their age); it was always such a lovely, relaxing time among the flowers, fruit, vegetables, and birdsong.

Instead, we’re making ourselves comfortable on the balcony. But now that the sun has come around, you can’t stand it for more than 10 minutes.
Unfortunately, I had to work today, but now it’s the end of the workday and I’m doing a little crafting, with beads
