Happy Weekend / Penguin Day / Arbor Day

Dear users, dear authors,
Yesterday was Penguin Day and Arbor Day. How about visiting the penguins at the zoo this weekend, or perhaps finding out about Arbor Day events, forest conservation initiatives, or tree protection campaigns in your area?

Dear Josefa, those are some great weekend suggestions. I like the idea of a day at the zoo best because the weather forecast is looking good. But instead of the zoo, there’s a big classic car and flea market near me. My husband can check out old cars and motorcycles from his youth, and I’ll go browse the flea market. It’s great that both things are at the same market—that way, the men and women each have something that interests them.

It’s supposed to rain here tomorrow, and the warm weather is still a ways off, so tomorrow evening we’ll have a quick, cozy raclette dinner with dear friends—and as I know it, Sunday will be all about sleeping in!
