The spa storks of Bad Königshofen...

... have had three young storks in their nest since yesterday; I saw them again a little while ago—one egg is still unhatched, and everyone is hoping that stork baby No. 4 will hatch.

Wow, they’re really early this year, aren’t they?

Probably because of the heat we’ve had these past few weeks, Veronika—I just checked Google, and it says most of them hatch in June.

Oh dear, let’s hope there won’t be any more heavy frost. Some of our stork pairs (about 6–7 pairs) here in the area are still renovating their nests; no young birds are visible yet.

Hopefully it won’t get too cold over the next few days. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for the two of them as they raise their chicks.
