Garden 2024: Chair Cushions, Lounger Pads, Lanterns + Decor

Cushions are always a lively element on the balcony and in the garden. They can dress up any boring bench.

Cushion cover "African Flowers"

First we crochet lots of colorful hexagons, which we then crochet together to make a cover. Then sew on the buttons, and you have an unmistakable cushion cover that only you have. You choose the colors and the look. I’m a big fan of white. It adds freshness and makes all the combined colors shine. Give it a try!





Tablecloth weights

What a difficult word for these little practical things that you clip to the corners of your tablecloth so that no gust of wind lifts it up and knocks over the dishes. Small amounts of leftover yarn are enough. Inside is a heavy stainless steel nut (from the hardware store), giving the pendant a nice weight. After all, it’s not just supposed to look pretty; it also has the function of keeping the tablecloth on the table. And if you secretly watch the guests at this table, you’ll notice that many of them even play with the "pompoms" :-) The round shapes seem to invite it.

 
Colorful lanterns are a wonderful decoration for the garden and patio and can be crocheted very well from leftover yarn you already have. And when it gets dark in the evening, they give off a romantic light. These lanterns are illuminated with an LED string light.

In the summer, cushions are a must-have on the garden bench.
