Dear users and authors,
tomorrow is another Warning Day in Germany, organized and conducted by the Federal Office for Civil Protection and Disaster Assistance (BBK).
The siren test will begin at 11 a.m., and other warning systems such as cell phones, display boards, etc., will also be used.
How do you handle this?
Sure, the technology should work, so that’s a good thing, buuuut… I’m not really sure what to make of it. There have always been test alarms—for as long as I can remember. They used to happen once a year, then there were no tests at all for years, and now they’re happening quite frequently. Is there perhaps something we should know?
Man, was I startled! I was in the middle of cooking and had my tablet running in the background; my cell phone was right behind the tablet. At first I thought it was about to break, but then I remembered the alarm :-))))))
Just like last year, we couldn’t hear a thing today. The day before yesterday there was an alarm, and you could hear it clearly then. Everything’s fine here, though.
