Animals at the petting zoo: let’s get crafting!

Isn't it bunny season right now?

You can easily crochet this little chubby bunny. A front and back piece are crocheted, which you join with a round of single crochet. Only the little stubby tail is sewn on at the end. 



With a face or without one - that's completely up to you

You’re sure to find a cute little lamb at the petting zoo, too. I crocheted this one using plush yarn to make it extra cuddly. But you can use any other yarn for it as well. If you want to use the lamb as a music box, like in the picture, you should use yarn of about the same thickness so it turns out big enough.



You’ll also find geese at the petting zoo. Here you can crochet an entire goose family: Mom and Dad Goose with their three newly hatched goslings.



And what would a petting zoo be without rabbits or hares? These ones are especially cute and cuddly because they’re crocheted from chenille yarn (head and paws), plush yarn, and cotton (body). They’re especially suitable as a baby’s very first cuddly toy.
