Knitting Socks: Tips

Dear users, dear authors,
do you have any tips for knitting socks? 

I only knit socks with Crazy Trio needles now. These are short circular needles, and I find them much easier to work with than a set of rigid double-pointed needles, where the needles are constantly in the way and the stitches tend to slip off easily. I slide the stitches on the needle that I’m not currently using onto the flexible sections of the needle, so they don’t get in the way.

I knit socks using the Magic Loop method and always work on both at the same time. If I were to knit just one at a time, I’d never finish them. Starting tomorrow, I’ll be knitting a sock MKAL, so I’ll be able to finish them without it stressing me out. Always nice to work “in small chunks” 😁
That reminds me—I haven’t even checked my stash yet to see which yarn I should put on the needles....
