Looking for help

Hi everyone,

I’m new here and I’m jumping right in with a tricky problem:
I saw a knitted vest on Pinterest that I’d love to recreate. I usually enjoy figuring out my own variations, but my brain is drawing a blank on this one! I can’t figure out how to knit this piece in one piece without a seam.  It feels like a Gordian knot....
I’ll upload a photo and hope someone knows a solution.

I don’t think it’s possible without seams. I’d guess there are some on the sides at the hips.

If you check out the link, you’ll see there’s no seam on the side either.
Could it be that the shoulder seams were closed with Kitchener stitch, making them invisible? The description says “seamless construction”…???

I took a look at it.
It’s constructed like a normal vest, except that the front pieces were swapped before the whole thing was closed into the round.
I also think they started with a provisional cast-on at the shoulders. The garment is closed at the front; you can see that in one of the photos. It should be relatively easy to knit this yourself.
You mainly find such clever designs on Ravelry. Maybe it’s there.

I could imagine doing it with a Turkish cast-on, starting from the shoulders. Work the back and front pieces separately and join all the pieces together after the armhole.
