Hand puppets are universally popular with children because they come to life through the puppeteer’s hands.
Hand-crocheted hand puppets are something truly special, as they’re individually crafted with love. They’re one-of-a-kind, since every puppet looks a little different.
In my shop, you’ll find many patterns for hand puppets. Here are a few of them:

The
grandmother is beside herself: someone has stolen her best cake pan! And the worst part is: even the Sunday cake, a freshly baked Guglhupf, has disappeared! Who on earth could have done this?

She asks the
police officer for advice. She wants him to help her find the thief. And the police officer gets right to work.

He quickly figures out that the thief is actually a woman:
Witch Wackelzahn absolutely loves Guglhupf, but she can’t bake, and Grandma’s Guglhupf just tastes especially good.
So Grandma takes pity on the witch and invites her and the police officer over for coffee and cake.
If you crochet these hand puppets, you can use them to put on the little play. Gather up some leftover yarn, download the patterns, and you’re all set. It’s going to be fun!
