Happy weekend: tomorrow is a full moon

Dear users, dear authors,
have a great weekend, everyone. Tomorrow is a full moon. Does that affect you, or does it not matter to you?

When there’s a full moon, I usually sleep very, very poorly—I lie awake in bed for hours—but other than that, it doesn’t really bother me.

I notice the full moon three nights before it happens—I hardly sleep at all during those nights. Then on the night of the full moon itself, I catch up on all my sleep. 🤣
As a kid, I used to wander around, so we had to lock our doors and windows; later, I’d wake up in the morning with my head at the foot of the bed; and for at least 30 years now, I haven’t slept at all during those few nights leading up to it.
When we were still working, it really bothered me—I felt completely wiped out. But now I don’t care—I can go to bed whenever I want.

Oh, so now we’re all going to pay attention to how we sleep tomorrow. And anyone who sleeps poorly will blame it on the full moon. I don’t care—some nights I sleep well, other nights I don’t. I don’t have time to worry about the moon, too :-)

Ina, I don’t really pay attention to it either—I only notice it when I find myself lying awake night after night and realize the full moon is approaching. Otherwise, I really don’t care what phase the moon is in; for me, it’s usually 3–4 nights like that, and then I can sleep well again.

I’m amazed by it every single time 🌓 🌒 🌑 

Let’s see how we sleep this weekend. I used to sleepwalk as a child, too. These days, I still tell stories in my sleep.

Have a great weekend, everyone. Hopefully the weather will improve again. So much water flows quickly down the river. We definitely have more than enough water right now. 

Luckily, the full moon doesn’t bother me—as long as it’s not shining right through my bedroom window—but thankfully, that’s what blackout blinds are for :-D

When there’s a full moon, I always find the people around me a bit strange. Especially at work at reception, I always think, “Is it a full moon again?” 😅 Something seems to be in the air, and people ask odd questions. 

I don’t notice anything myself; I sleep quite well during a full moon, too, but as so often, not enough.
