Knitting or crocheting lace means creating delicate lace or openwork patterns.
Lace looks its best with very fine yarns, such as Schoppel’s Laceball. The larger the needle size, the more delicate and airy the patterns appear.
It takes a little getting used to working with such fine yarn, but the result is definitely worth it.
