Decor Highlights: Colorful and Beautiful / That Puts You in a Good Mood

Dear users, dear designers,
regardless of the season, you’ll find decor patterns here that you can enjoy all year round. Maybe you’d like to try maritime decor or make a few new pillows by hand? You’re sure to find a great new pattern. Have fun with it.

Kids love colorful decor. Blankets, pillows, rugs—everything can happily be bright and colorful. They can play with it, redecorate it however they like, use it practically, or simply enjoy it. Here are a few examples from my home.

Water Lily Pillow

We crochet a top piece and a bottom piece. Both are buttoned together with self-crocheted buttons. On top is a beautiful raised water lily.




Heart Pillow

Romantic and playful, this stuffed heart pillow has a charming look. It is thick and plump, filled with synthetic stuffing. If needed, it can be washed as is in the washing machine and will keep its shape. Here we crochet lots of whole and half hexagons, which we join together at the end to make a pillow.




Round Colorful Rug

Small colorful rugs fit anywhere you need a bit of color: in the children’s room, the hallway, or in a colorless corner that could use a splash of color. Here we crochet with our many colorful leftover yarns. They all need to have roughly the same yardage and should harmonize well in color. Every rug becomes one of a kind. We make the back non-slip.

Do you like maritime decor? Of course it fits especially well in summer, but it’s also popular in the winter months, as it reminds us of wonderfully relaxing vacation days by the sea.





Dolls of various sizes can make themselves comfortable in a blue-and-white striped beach chair like this, because you can make it in almost any size you like. To do this, a cardboard box is cut to size and crocheted around. Depending on the size of the box, the size of the beach chair will vary as well. For example, it can also be integrated into a small door wreath.




Octopus Oskar is a cheerful fellow who feels at home in any maritime decoration. So he doesn’t mind at all if he ends up in a fishing net. After all, he knows you’ll get him out of there again sometime!
I crocheted Oskar from a leftover piece of a four-strand gradient yarn cake, which gives his body a subtle color gradient from a rich blue to light blue. But he can be made with any yarn you like.




This decorative mini door wreath with a little paper boat can be crocheted from just a few leftover cotton yarn scraps in white and blue. It is only 12 cm in diameter, so it can also be used as a window or wall decoration.

Anyone who loves vintage cars and tapestry crochet can now crochet this wonderful pillow cover! Perfect as a gift idea or as home decor. There is always room for a new pillow!
