Thanks, Josefa—have a great weekend, too, along with everyone else here!
Cologne is covered in snow right now, which is rare here, and things always get pretty chaotic as a result—people are even making jokes about it. I think it’s quite pretty, especially when the sun is out, but a few days is enough for me—then I’d be happy for spring to come back.
Spring is my favorite season, closely followed by summer. I like it bright and warm, and I especially love that sense of renewal and optimism in the spring. If summer doesn’t get too hot, it just goes on and on like that—heavenly. Everything is in bloom, you can be outside all the time, sitting outside without getting cold—that’s exactly my thing.
Fall is my least favorite season; here, it’s usually gloomy, gray, and wet. Of course, I can make myself comfortable indoors, too, but crocheting outside is also really nice. Though it’s really the gloominess that bothers me. During Advent, with all the lights, you tend to be distracted from the winter—then it’s already New Year’s, then Carnival, and before you know it, winter’s over—that works. But in fall, you still have so many dark weeks ahead of you; I don’t find that very pleasant.
