Toiletry bags

So, my toiletry bags are finished; I also personalized the one for my hubby with his monogram. Both bags are sewn from fabric scraps, including the lining. I’ve had that African fabric scrap in my stash for at least 20 years :-) I knew it would find a purpose someday :-)

Ha! I recognize that African fabric—I once made a summer dress out of it, but that was a loooong time ago!

Veronika, and this is what I sewed back then from the African fabric. I also used my embroidery machine, because without Africa’s wildlife, the bag just wasn’t complete in my eyes. Here you can see both sides of the bag.
