White geese have long been part of the rural idyll.



As a cross-stitch motif, they make a lovely addition to the kitchen, e.g.
on dish towels, hand towels, potholders, or doilies.
You can also embroider them individually or arrange them in a new way.
You need nine thread colors; I suggested Anchor stranded cotton
and DMC. But the colors are interchangeable, so you can also browse through your
stash for matching embroidery thread.

The water tower on the East Frisian island of Langeoog is a beautiful
maritime embroidery motif. With this embroidery pattern, you’ll stitch the tower
in full cross stitch, backstitch, 1/4 stitch, and 3/4 stitch.


The embroidery measures just 37x49 stitches and is well suited
