Kauni Effect Yarn

Dear users, dear authors, do you like Kauni effect yarn? Have you had any experience with it?
As far as I know, it’s a gradient yarn from Estonia that’s great for knitting Fair Isle patterns.
Could someone perhaps explain again what’s so special about Fair Isle patterns?

Is this not your thing?

I’m only familiar with Danish Kauni yarns by name.
So this topic doesn’t get completely lost, I’ll quote from their website:

It appeals to me and is on my to-do list.

Kauni is a joy to knit with... Not just for Fair Isle, but also for double-faced projects... I’ve been knitting a blanket—or rather, I’m still working on it.... One in a solid color and one in a rainbow pattern. The colors are really vibrant, and the skeins come in 150 g, which makes it very convenient to knit from the inside out. I love these colors—I also have some absolutely gorgeous light green, purple, and light blue...
