A wonderful shawl for summer is my crocheted "Prom Night" model

It is crocheted from the bottom up, and thanks to the cotton yarn it’s a constant companion for me during the warmer season. 

The stitches used are double crochet, chain stitches, single crochet, and slip stitches. 

Schwammgarn ist ein synthetisches Garn, aus dem man wunderschöne bunte Spül- oder Badeschwämme häkeln kann, die sich problemlos bei 60° in der Waschmaschine waschen lassen und schnell trocknen.
Wie wäre es mit so einem selbsgehäkelten Badeschwamm als Weihnachtgeschenk (vielleicht zusammen mit einem duftenden Duschgel)?


Wenn du so einen Glückskäfer- Duschschwamm verschenkst, kannst du damit gleichzeitig deine Glückwünsche für das neue Jahr verbinden. Du brauchst dafür weniger als ein halbes Knäuel von jeder Farbe.



Den Rest des roten und schwarzen Schwammgarns kannst du verwenden, um dieses süße Putzteufelchen zu häkeln. Es leistet in der Küche beim Spülen und Wegwischen angetrockneter Essensreste gute Dienste.




Und wenn dann noch ein kleiner Rest Schwammgarn übrig ist, kannst du ihn zum Verzieren von Puppenkleidung oder wie hier als Umrandung für den Mantel von Handpuppen aufbrauchen. Die Handpuppen Engel und Teufel  wurden vollständig aus Wollresten gehäkelt. Der Mantel des Teufels hat dabei eine Einfassung aus rotem Schwammgarn, beim Engel ist sie hellblau.

Endless Blanket with Bobbel

I crocheted a Bobbel with a gentle color gradient. You can make the blanket as large as you want, or as large as your Bobbel allows—that’s why it’s called the “Endless Blanket.” 

Gradient yarn with a medium or long color gradient is perfect for the “Altaira” shawl pattern.



Altaira is a star-shaped shawl made using Tunisian crochet. You can crochet it as a semicircle or a three-quarter circle in any size you like.
